Aleta Naujunas, PT, DPT
I am very pleased to be "Dr. Naujunas, aka Miss Aleta" for my clients! I have 15 years of experience in working with children from Birth to Three/Early Intervention services, to therapeutic horseback riding, to school-based physical therapy- my varied experience has enabled me to work with children with a variety of conditions from developmental delays to chronic conditions.

I was born and raised in central Connecticut and am pleased to serve the same area as a healthcare professional. I attended Simmons College in Boston, MA, for both undergraduate and graduate study, graduating Summa Cum Laude in both the bachelor's and doctoral programs.

When I'm "off duty" (not sure when that is! Mom life is 24/7!), I am the proud mother of two busy children and enjoy being active outdoors- gardening, hiking, tennis, running, live music/attending concerts, and many other interests.

I don't believe in "wait and see".. taking an early approach to helping children is best!

My approach to PT sessions is a relaxed approach which often starts with a lot of play and fun- I find children do their best work when they're relaxed during a therapy session, not stressed. This is what makes my approach different than a cold, busy clinic. I mix a healthy balance of holistic therapy such as craniosacral therapy, and more "traditional" physical therapy practices, for best client outcomes.
